Scheduling a Session
To schedule a session, just drop me an email at shalimar@shalimarbphotography.com or call me at 773-230-5441.
I am currently booking sessions on the following days:
- In-studio Sessions - Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday
- On-location Sessions - All Days, weather permitting
**Please note, newborns are best photographed within the first two weeks of life (to get that teeny-tiny newborn look). If you are pregnant, please let me know your due date and I will make note in my schedule and be able to accomodate you.
If you already have your teeny-tiny newborn, call me ASAP and I'll do my best to fit you in immediately.
New 2011 Session Rates & Fees
In-studio session fees:
- Weekday – $185
- Weekend – $230
On-location session fees:
- Weekday – $205
- Weekend – $250
Session fee is due one week after booking session. Fee includes the time and talent of the photographer and the creative editing of approximately 20-40 images.
Session Duration
There is no time limit on sessions, but they typically last between 1-2 hours.
For newborns, I usually plan for at least 2 hours, allowing time for feedings, changing and breaks as needed.
Session Cancellation
If your child becomes sick – please call me ASAP. Trying to do a session with a sick child isn't good for anyone. For all other cancellations/reschedules, please give at least 48 hours notice, otherwise session fee will be forfeited.
Session Follow-up & Image Viewing
Approximately 2 weeks after your photo session an ordering session will be scheduled. This is the time where we can go thru your proofs and you will order your prints.
At the time of placing a print order, 50% of the total will be due. Final payment is due upon delivery.
Accepted methods of payment include personal check and credit card (Visa, MasterCard and Discover).
All orders are subject to Illinois and Cook County sales tax.
Print Prices
- 8 wallets of same image – $29
- 8" x 10" and smaller – $55
- 11" x 14" – $89
- 10" x 20" - $129
- 16" x 20" – $179
